A Moro teacher’s history of the peoples of Mindanao, Sulu and Palawan, written as a textbook and printed by the author.
Ben J. Kadil's history covers the Moro and indigenous peoples of Minsupala, the name for Mindanao, Sulu and Palawan taken together. It appeared in 2002, at 228 pages, with references. Library records name Kadil as publisher, while a course module cites it as issued in Marawi City by the university's Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension.
It is a reading for History 003, the Mindanao State University course on the Filipino Muslims and indigenous peoples of Minsupala. A module for that course lists it beside Peter Gowing's Muslim Filipinos: Heritage and Horizon, Cesar Adib Majul's Muslims in the Philippines and Rudy Rodil's A Story of Mindanao and Sulu in Question and Answer.
Kadil is a professor in the Department of History and Graduate Studies at Mindanao State University, with a PhD in Philippine Studies from the same university. He later wrote The Moro Wars in the Philippines, 1565 to the Present, on the Mindanao War of 2003 and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, published by Edwin Mellen Press in 2017.
