Printed by the author or a very small press, sold direct or on demand: the link goes to where they offer it.
A collector’s illustrated catalogue of Moro blades and arms, printed on demand.
This illustrated book shows Moro weapons and other artefacts from the Philippines and the islands that traded with them. Each item appears in full-colour photographs with a short note on its size, materials and where it was found. The publisher says many of the pieces come from private collections in the Philippines and have not been shown in public before.
Its author, Bruce Jenkins, directs the Moroland Museum and is the author, publisher and main photographer of its book series. He made the book to document the museum's archives. It is the second volume of the series, after Krises of Moroland, and later volumes were planned on swords, daggers, shields, armour, bows and arrows. The 70-page book appeared on September 25, 2015.
The title echoes the "Weapons of Moroland" souvenir plaques, which display spears, shields and blades such as the kris, barong and kampilan.
