Salamat Hashim (1939 to 2003) was the founder and leader of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front. This collection of his writings was published in 2001 by the MILF's Agency for Youth Affairs. It sets out the MILF's account of the Bangsamoro struggle against oppression and colonial rule, and its case for the Bangsamoro right to self-determination. It is listed among his works between a 1985 book on the Bangsamoro mujahid and a 2002 piece proposing a referendum as a peaceful way to settle the Mindanao conflict.
