Plays drawn from Maranao tales, written in Filipino by Frank Rivera for the Sining Kambayoka theatre of Mindanao State University.
This book collects plays by Frank G. Rivera for Sining Kambayoka, the folk theatre company he founded at Mindanao State University in Marawi in the 1970s. The plays drew on Maranao arts, such as the bayok chant and characters from old tales, and mixed them with comment on the politics of the day.
Arthur P. Casanova edited the collection, with an introduction by Anita M. Navarro. The UST Publishing House published it in 2003. Library records note texts in Filipino, English and Cebuano.
