This reader on Muslim separatism and the war in the southern Philippines was published by the Institute for Popular Democracy in Quezon City in 2000. Eric Gutierrez, Kristina Gaerlan and Mara Stankovitch are named as its authors.
It brings together pieces by several writers. Aijaz Ahmad writes on class and colony in Mindanao and on the war against the Muslims. Gutierrez and Marites Dañguilan Vitug look at the ARMM after the peace agreement, and Eliseo Mercado Jr. writes on peace and development.
